Course Description
The CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct are fundamental to the values of CFA Institute and essential to achieving its mission to lead the investment profession globally by promoting the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence for the ultimate benefit of society. High ethical standards are critical to maintaining the public's trust in financial markets and in the investment profession.

Zhanar Aldambergenova received MSc degree in Accounting & Finance from Manchester Business School (UK, The University of Manchester). Zhanar is currently Level III Candidate in the CFA program.
She has more than 15 years working experience in Kazakhstani banking system in particular credit risk management, project finance and credit analysis. She is currently teaching finance and Accounting course at Higher School of Economics, M. Narikbayev University. In addition, she serves as CFA trainer for BCPD AIFC.

Course Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course students will be able to explain the need for high ethical standards in the investment industry and the ethical responsibilities required by the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct and to demonstrate the application of the Code and Standards. Students should also be able to demonstrate an understanding of the Global Investment Performance Standards.
Structure of the course:
Duration of the course is from 8th of June 2020 and till 11 of July 2020. The format of the course involves interactive online lectures (30 hours) and seminars (15 hours) via ZOOM. After finalizing each topic students are to write interim quizzes in order to check their studies progression.
